1987年群馬県生まれ。
首都大学東京システムデザイン学部卒業、東京藝術大学大学院美術学部修了。
日本デザインセンター 色部デザイン研究室、原デザイン研究室を経て2018年に独立。
同年、加藤亮介デザイン事務所として活動後、2021年より株式会社KAAKAを設立。

Born in 1987 in Gunma, Japan.
Graduated from the Faculty of System Design at Tokyo Metropolitan University, and completed a Master’s degree at the Tokyo University of the Arts, Graduate School of Fine Arts.
After working at the Irobe Design Institute and Hara Design Institute of Nippon Design Center, became independent in 2018.
Founded Ryosuke Kato Design Office the same year, and later established KAAKA Inc. in 2021.

KAAKA Inc.
KAAKA is a Tokyo-based design studio led by art directors Ryosuke Kato and Chihiro Kato. We work across art direction and design as one continuous process.
We believe that defining a direction and giving it visual form are inseparable. Through dialogue, we develop a shared understanding of what each project seeks to achieve. Working across disciplines, we consider both what is right for each expression and how they relate as a whole. By moving back and forth between thinking and making, we seek the most appropriate design for each project.
